The Middle Path--The Safest By S.R. Parchment

Publishing: 1930 By The Pilot Publishing Co, First Edition

This book consists of a series of lectures given by the author at the San Francisco Rosicrucian Fellowship Center in California. The exact dates I am unaware of, but I do know Mr. Parchment was a direct contact with possibly the greatest Western Mystic of the 20th century, Max Heindel. The Middle Path refers to the teachings of Gautama Buddha, which can be summed up in this phrase "Accept nothing that is unreasonable; discard nothing as unreasonable without proper examination." Take the neutral position if you are unsure about any others. Never assume, do not judge, be the rock upon the shore that allows the waves to crash upon it like the circumstances of life that are uncontrollable. ULTRA RARE

Condition: Good / hardcover has wear and minor staining to front cover with staining to back cover (refer to pictures) / pages have some type of liquid staining as well / text is completely legible / few pages dog-eared / hardcover has minor warping on backside

“On the other hand, the esoteric disciple, when conscious of the "Ray" to which he vibrates, and whose inner vision, or Christ consciousness, has been awakened, is attuned to the mellow light of Ra. Only such a pupil is able to peer through the "Golden Light" of the Cosmic Christ, and behold in aspirants of other Rays-"The Infant Logos"-for, by the Christ that is formed in him, can he behold the "Christ" in others. His head, so to say, is drenched in the effulgent light of the Logos of his own being. He therefore becomes conscious that the Seven Planetary Genii, and all the beings that are evolving through them, are indeed but children of one common Father. Such a disciple is said to be vibrating "In tune with the Infinite. In other words, as the Physical Sun, and all the other planets of our system are vibrating in unison with the Spiritual Sun, in like manner the Golden Light-"The Magic Mantle," which the Mystic has woven, attunes him to all mankind; the Son of man becomes a Son of God. Thus: "HE WHO SEES THE TRUTH, IS NEITHER OF THE EAST NOR THE WEST-HE IS OF GOD.” - S.R. Parchment The Middle Path
