Initiate Consciousness By Rudolf Steiner
Initiate Consciousness By Rudolf Steiner
Publishing: 1928 by Anthroposophic Press
Condition: Good- / what looks to be burn mark to front cover / extreme wear to extremities / contents are in very good condition and unmarked
One thing about Steiner is that there is always a title out there by him that you just haven’t heard of until you actually obtain a copy, this title was that for me. Not sure if this is extremely rare or I just don’t have the right friends yet, I had not been introduced to this book.
“While the thought wills something in the head, and the thought then passes downward through the feeling into the whole body and the man then wills by means of his whole body, during this time there is developed in the man something like a finer, more subtle, more intimate process of combustion. If a person attains initiate-consciousness, he can experience this willing influenced by warmth. For customary consciousness, however, this remains entirely below the threshold. This is only an illustration of how that which can be raised above into consciousness remains, nevertheless, for the customary consciousness below the threshold.”
