Eight Lectures On Yoga by Aleister Crowley
Eight Lectures On Yoga by Aleister Crowley
Publishing: 1972 by Sangreal Foundation, Inc. Second Printing
Condition: Very Good
As I have recently started doing hot yoga again, this book was a very enticing read. Not to mention I have not read anything front to back of Crowley’s work. This title was a great start. It is a no bullsh*t summary of what yoga truly is, from its Sanskrit root word meaning “union” or “to join” as I am more familiar. No mysticism or woo-woo crap. Crowley claims that consciousness itself is “yoga” since it is the union of two things, the seer and the seen. Which has just been proven and that experiment won a nobel peace prize. Cementing the fact that if an object is not observed, it does NOT exist. Meaning you need a seer to see.
